about Aptos Multimedia

Based in the beautiful Monterey Bay area, Aptos Multimedia is a product of the imagination and hard work of writer and photographer Maggie Daniel Caldwell. With an eye for the offbeat and a passion for the out of doors, we have completed a variety of projects for many delighted clients - including leading technology companies, local and national magazines, non-profit educational institutions, and film production companies.

In August of 2007 our digital story "Why I Walk" won an award at the California Coastal Views Film Festival.

We're excited about our current projects, which include:
-A 30-minute DVD journey through Big Sur (production title: "Big Sur Through the Lens")
-The development of an interactive/multimedia, site-specific environmental curriculum for the Watsonville Wetlands Watch (under a Cowell Foundation grant)
-Check out our portfolio for descriptions and links to other work, running the gamut from corporate marketing to local journalism, with stops between for engaging photography and website development.
